It gives me immense pleasure to welcome and introduce you to Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Deolali Pravara.

Ahmednagar Jilha Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj has been established by the inspiration and blessings of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj. Shahu Maharaj planted a small tree of bread in Ahmednagar and he is seen in the form of his primary, secondary, junior and senior colleges.

Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya was established in the name of Shahu Maharaj in the rural areas of Deolali Pravara in 2004. Continuous efforts are being made to bring the light of education to the common people as per the meaning of  “Tejo Se Tejo Me Dehi”.The organization established Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya in Deolali Pravara in 2004. The basic purpose of establishing the college is to bring knowledge to the students of  rural areas and make available opportunities for higher education locally. Savitribai Phule said that if a woman from the family is educated, she will be able to get her entire family literate. If the family gets literate then the village, taluka, district, state and country will  automatically become literate. For this purpose, the students of rural areas have come to realize their source knowledge are getting from College.In college, various faculty of arts, science, commerce and computer science has been started. Not only this, M.Sc. Computer Science has also started this syllabus, so that there are various faculty degrees and post-graduate courses in the college. Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, which gives priority to the vocational courses in the field of computer science and BBA(CA), is the first college in Rahuri taluka.

Today, on the threshold of 21st Century, the information technology network is scattered all over the world. Computer laboratories have been given priority for the purpose of providing vocational education along with academic study of all the faculty students and for which the latest laboratories have been created.

The college is leading in various programs. Guidance for various opportunities of employment with the development of the personality of the students is always done in the college. Students  studying in the college are working in Maharashtra, Union Territory, Police and the Army and private organizations. The academic graph of college looks consistently high, it is a matter of satisfaction.
